Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between Rinteo, operated by Arsen Tomyn, Warsaw, Poland (“Rinteo”, “we”) and the merchant who installs Rinteo on a Shopify store (“you”). By installing or using Rinteo you accept them on behalf of your business.
1. The service
Rinteo is an email marketing app that runs inside the Shopify admin. It syncs your store’s customers, orders and products, and lets you build lists and segments, design emails, send campaigns and run automated flows, and view reports.
2. Your account
Your Rinteo account is tied to your Shopify store: installing the app creates it and opening the app from the Shopify admin signs you in. You are responsible for who has access to your Shopify admin.
3. Plans and billing
- Plans are listed on our pricing page and in the app. They differ by contact limit — customers with an email address in your store.
- The Free plan has no charge. Paid plans are billed by Shopify every 30 days in USD on your store’s invoice, under Shopify’s billing terms.
- Paid plans include a free trial the first time your store subscribes; later subscriptions start without a trial.
- When your contacts reach the plan’s limit, new campaigns and flow emails pause until you upgrade or your list is under the limit. Syncing continues.
- You can change plans at any time in Settings → Billing. Cancelling or uninstalling ends the subscription; Shopify handles any credits under its billing rules.
4. Your responsibilities
- Email only people who agreed to receive your marketing, and follow the laws that apply to you (for example GDPR, the ePrivacy rules, CAN-SPAM and CASL).
- Keep a valid postal address in Settings → Sending and the unsubscribe link in every campaign; Rinteo checks both before sending.
- Make sure your content is lawful, accurate and yours to use.
- As controller of your customers’ data, give them the privacy information the law requires. Our Data Processing Agreement covers how we process that data for you.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Rinteo to send unsolicited email, purchased or rented lists, phishing, malware, or content that is illegal, deceptive or infringes others’ rights, nor try to break, overload or get around the security of the service. To protect deliverability for every store, Rinteo watches bounces and spam complaints and may pause sending for a store whose rates are too high, or suspend an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why and how to resolve it.
6. Reports and attribution
Reports show what we measured: deliveries, opens, clicks and attributed revenue — orders placed after a click in your emails within the attribution window. Attributed revenue is a measurement, not a statement that an email caused a purchase. Opens are an estimate: some email apps load images automatically or block them.
7. Availability and delivery
We work to keep Rinteo available and to deliver your email, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery to the inbox, or any level of opens, clicks or sales. Mailbox providers decide where an email lands.
8. Your data and ours
Your store data, content and customer lists remain yours. You give us the rights we need to run the service for you. Rinteo, its software and brand remain ours. Feedback you send may be used to improve the service.
9. Ending the service
You can stop at any time by uninstalling Rinteo from your Shopify admin. Sending stops at once, and your store’s data is deleted when Shopify sends its data deletion request (48 hours after an uninstall), as described in our Privacy Policy. We may end the service with notice, or at once for a serious breach of these terms.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Rinteo is provided “as is”; we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for Rinteo in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its effective date and tell you in the app or by email about material changes. Continuing to use Rinteo after that means you accept them.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Rinteo, operated by Arsen Tomyn is established, except where the law of your country gives you protections that cannot be waived. Questions: support@rinteo.com.
